We’re currently partnering with a highly capable and experienced operations leader in their search for a new challenge with a driven but measured manufacturer in commutable distance from Chester.

Currently working for an SME as an Operations Director with a wealth of knowledge in international supply chain and offering an astute commercial mindset. This person is seeking either a like for like role OR a step back where there is opportunity to move forward again in the future.
This move is one that will hopefully offer a better work / life balance by reducing a long, twice daily commute.

• Boasting a 25-year career in manufacturing and supply chain operations across textiles, packaging and logistics
• Knowledge of FR coated products – fabric and flooring
• Led multiple projects including cost reduction, line rationalisation, SAP implementation in UK & EMEA, site relocation and slow-moving stock reduction.
• Led consolidation of Asia and Middle East manufacturing units into single streamlined international offices and manufacturing facility resulting in annual savings of over £300,000 whilst still maintaining service levels to international customer base
