We have an opportunity to join one of our wonderful clients based in Rochdale to join their engineering team on a permanent basis.

About You

• Able to work a rotating 6-2/2-10shift pattern
• Electrical bias but with some mechanical knowledge/experience
• PLC, motor controls, electrical wiring and mechanical systems including pneumatics and gears.
• Engineering qualification such as 17^th/18^th Edition, apprenticeship or HNC/HND
• You’ll enjoy the ongoing coaching and development of more junior members of the engineering team

About the Job

• You’ll join as part of the established engineering team and report into the Operations Manager
• You’ll worked on specialist equipment from PLC’s, motor controls, electrical wiring and mechanical systems including pneumatics and motors and gearboxes.
• Planned and preventative maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and corrective action.
• There will be plenty of project work.
• Risk assessments.
• Source and control of external contractors and sourcing of spare parts when needed.
