Are you an experienced HR Manager? Do you enjoy the strategy side of human resources; getting stuck in to development and succession planning? Can you bring enthusiasm and passion to your role?

We’re looking for a real people person who has the drive to help move a traditional textiles business forward; to be able to plan a recruitment strategy which will excite a new generation into a career in the industry.

About You

  • Ideally you’ll be qualified to Level 7 CIPD.
  • It would be helpful if you’ve previously worked within the textiles industry OR have a huge passion for textiles.
  • You’ll be a natural people person who strives to develop a culture in which people enjoy coming to work.
  • You should have the drive to implement change; you’ll have ideas and want to see those changes happen!
  • You will be commutable to Leeds.

About The Job

  • Working closely with the Finance Director, you will manage the whole HR function and be supported by a HR Assistant.
  • The business is ready for change and needs someone on board who will help to “attack the company vision”.
  • There is a massive focus here on engagement and development – they want you to be able to create a culture where people come to stay for a long time but then also be able to succession plan in advance.
  • As well as the usual duties involved as a HR Manager, you’ll also be reviewing the current perks and benefits.
  • They have a 3 year plan in place and this is going to involve lots of recruitment.
  • With c200 staff on site and an additional smaller site, it’s a big and busy role with lots of challenges that you will relish!
  • As you’re working within a manufacturing facility you will be needed on site 5 days per week.
