We’re partnering exclusively with this niche textile manufacturer in Bury, North Manchester to find a second in command for the Production Director.  It’s a newly created role due to growth and enhanced production activity.

About You

• Ideally you’ll have previously worked within a textiles manufacturing environment.
• It’s essential that you’ve worked in a leadership role such as Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader.
• We’re looking for someone who uses their initiative; you’ve got to be a problem solver!
• With your LEAN techniques, you’ll work in support of the Production Director, ensuring a smooth manufacturing process.

About The Job

• You’ll join as Production Manager in a fairly small facility; that being said, it’s a busy role and there’s lots for you to focus on.
• Working alongside the senior management team, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the shop floor including staff management.
• With your firm, but fair management style, you’ll mentor and guide your team through growth and the implementation of new procedures.
• A good head for figures is also a must as you’ll help to put the departmental budgets and forecasts together.
