Are you an experienced Production Planner / Scheduler from manufacturing? Have you worked in a technical / engineering environment?  Can you read and interpret engineer drawings?

We’re working exclusively with an exceptional manufacturer in North Manchester who require your skills in production planning.

About You

• You’ll have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Production Planner or similar.
• It’s essential that you’ve previously planned production schedules.
• Ideally you’ll have used SAP before as well as the use of multiple systems and MS Excel.
• Naturally you’ll be a problem solver and be able to challenge and question the production team to ensure priorities are set.

About The Job

• You’ll join as a Production Planner and work closely with the Planning Manager.
• You will be responsible for coordinating the daily workload within the production facility.
• Duties will include maintaining the planning and scheduling database, determine manpower, equipment and raw material requirements and constantly monitoring each project to ensure it completes on time and in budget.
• Along with the Planning Manager, you’ll head up the morning planning meetings, prioritising the daily workload.
• There will be lots of communication with various internal departments as well as external sub-contract suppliers.
