Sales Manager – Textile Manufacturing

We’re looking for an ambitious sales manager, based in Oldham or surrounding areas, who is results-driven, enthusiastic and has the influence to open new doors and really accelerate sales growth.
You’ll be from a SME background and used to a small company environment.
What you’ll get.
- Salary £40-65k DOE (What skills do you bring to the table?)
- Uncapped commission
- £6.5k car allowance

About the role
- You’ll develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets across the UK and International targets.
- Have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify new market opportunities, establishing export distribution channels and scoping out untapped niches.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with key clients, providing excellent customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Be an amazing team leader, mentoring and inspiring the customer service team, helping to achieve individual and collective team goals.
- Oversee online/offline sales and marketing initiatives to maximise ROI.
- Utilise sales data and market insights to streamline processes and refine strategies.
- You’ll work closely with other teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.
- Prepare and present sales performance reports to the board, highlighting success and areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings in the UK and abroad.
About you
- You’ll have experience of selling manufactured textile products; mainly knitted products (non-clothing).
- Come from an SME background with experience of managing a small internal team.
- We’re looking for a door-opener and a sales-closer. Someone capable of a high-level of account management.
- Proven in sales, exceeding targets and driving business growth.
- Good knowledge of managing export distribution and navigating global markets.
- Strong digital, sales & marketing insight, using analytics tools and digital comm’s platforms.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Regular travel is required within the UK and abroad.
