About You

• This role is going to suit someone who enjoys a laboratory environment; you’ll be inquisitive, self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail.
• Ideally you’ll have some experience of working in a lab within textiles, however you could also be a recent graduate in Textile Technology or Materials Science and looking for the first steps in your career.
• Confidence is key – you will have involvement in daily meetings as well as being able to report to the wider team on your findings.
• You should be adaptable to chage and be able to manage your day accordingly.
• You’ll be happy working onsite 5 days per week.

About The Job

• You’ll join as a Laboratory Technician and will work closely with the Senior Technician and Lab Manager.
• You will perform various testing on textile products and log your data; this could include colour fastness, pilling, tensile testing and flammability.
• You’ll manage the sample process; recycling where needed.
• Management of the lab consumables.
