We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Production & Quality Assistant to join a great team with a high-end customer base. You’ll work in support of the Production Manager.

You’ll be commutable to both Burnley and Todmorden; use of your own vehicle is essential.

About the role

This role is on site – 5 days per week (Early finish on a Friday)

• You’ll be checking products and materials to maintain quality control standards
• Assisting with production planning to keep an efficient workflow
• Helping with admin tasks, including tracking production, quality reports and documentation
• Identifying and reporting quality issues, using your initiative to suggest improvements
• You’ll help support lab testing to ensure that textile products meet the required specifications
• Work closely with the Production teams to support smooth operations

About you

• You’ll come from a background in Textiles and have previous experience in a lab (Textiles, materials, testing or a related field)
• Confident and able to talk with people at all levels
• Strong quality control within a manufacturing setting
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies or defects
• A strong work ethic- not shy of getting stuck in!
• Be able to take direction and hold your own in a busy manufacturing environment
• Basic administration and computer skills to manage reports/tracking.
• Provide support to the Production Manager as and when required to ensure operations run smoothly
