We’re partnering with a highly technical textile manufacturer in Lancashire who are looking to bring on board an experienced Supply Chain Planner in to this newly created role.  You’ll have a varied role incorporating planning and project management.

About You

  • You’ll already be working in a supply chain environment and have a good knowledge of the process including critical path management
  • It’s a fast-paced role so you’ll need to be able to think on your feet; never missing a trick!
  • Ideally you will have had exposure to project management with experience in tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet
  • You must have advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse data for reporting purposes
  • A natural problem solver, you’ll have the ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple projects through to completion

About The Job

  • You’ll join as Supply Chain Planner and will collaborate daily across various teams including purchasing, manufacturing and logistics
  • You will be responsible for a number of projects, varying in size and value; developing, monitoring and updating project plans
  • With your flair for communication, you’ll act as the glue between suppliers, customers, production, purchasing, warehousing and logistics to ensure that projects are completed on time
  • Reviewing, monitoring and implementing CI initiatives
  • Managing resources and inventory for each project with precision
