If you’re passionate and driven about textiles manufacturing, with a proven track record in sales, then we want to hear from you. We’re partnering with a long-term client, who after significant investment is looking to hire a new Business Development Manager, and you’ll play a key role in the growth of the business.

About you

  • You’ll be a natural sales person, someone who is self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed business development and growth.
  • You’ll be naturally inquisitive, with a track record for seeking out new business and seeing projects through from start to finish?
  • You’ll be confident market mapping and executing a sales strategy.
  • You’ll have a background in textile manufacturing
  • Be a people person, confident engaging and presenting to people at all levels of seniority within the UK and internationally.
  • Have you got a keen eye for spotting new opportunities for development within the UK and Europe?

About the job

  • Developing new business sales and managing some existing accounts.
  • Working as part of a team to implement new product development at customer and group level.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the business into new product categories and market segments, working closely with R&D throughout.
  • Seeking out new business opportunities and relationships.
  • Attending appropriate conferences, webinars, meetings, exhibitions and industry events, so a flexibility and willingness to travel is a must.
  • Creating effective sales and marketing plans.
  • Generating proposals and quotes for customers.
