About you

• Time served with a solid background in Engineering
• HNC/HND in mechanical production engineering
• Lean manufacturing awareness
• Effective project manager, organised with excellent attention to detail whilst managing multiple projects
• You’ll have strong leadership capabilities and solid judgement along with decision making skills
• You’ll be comfortable with European travel every 1-2 months

About the job

• Being a member of the senior leadership team, you’ll be leading a small team of engineers, you’ll have responsibility for supporting the production areas on site supporting programming and tooling requirements.
• Involvement in project work including tooling development, process improvement, capital projects and efficiency improvement initiatives.
• You’ll investigate new production methods and machine technologies.
• Optimize programming routines, define best machines for core components, including what-if scenarios.
• Working closely with engineering, planning, quality and purchasing.
• You’ll lead and drive investigations and work with the Quality department to reduce issues.
