About you:

• You’ll be a focused and results driven Procurement professional
• You’ll have an engineering background; it would be great if you had an engineering qualification but experience is the most important here
• You’ll have a proven track record in procurement of raw materials and material surface treatments
• It’s a given that you’ll be IT literate (Microsoft 365 is essential, SAP desirable)
• You’ll have a full UK driver’s license to attend supplier meetings

About the role:

As the Procurement Engineer you’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team.

• You’ll be sourcing and buying a range of materials and engineered components

• You’ll work closely with UK suppliers making sure orders are placed on time, costs are kept in check and the highest quality standards are met
• Plan and manage inventory of materials and products
• You’ll support supplier development, supplier audits and represent the company in meetings when needed
• It’s a hands-on role, you’ll need to balance your technical knowledge with solid communication and problem-solving skills
