About the Job

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a highly visible position where you’ll work closely with operational teams across the site to provide insightful analysis, ensure robust cost controls, and support strategic decision-making. The role is fully office-based and offers the chance to be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of a complex manufacturing environment.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes

• Perform cost accounting duties, including standard costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation

• Partner with production, engineering, and procurement teams to analyse performance and cost drivers

• Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction

• Assist with CAPEX appraisals and post-implementation reviews

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and group reporting requirements

About You:

• Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable

• Exposure to cost accounting principles

• Confident communicator with the ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders

• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
