About the Job
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a highly visible position where you’ll work closely with operational teams across the site to provide insightful analysis, ensure robust cost controls, and support strategic decision-making. The role is fully office-based and offers the chance to be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of a complex manufacturing environment.

Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary

Support budgeting and forecasting processes

Perform cost accounting duties, including standard costing, margin analysis, and inventory valuation

Partner with production, engineering, and procurement teams to analyse performance and cost drivers

Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction

Assist with CAPEX appraisals and post-implementation reviews

Ensure compliance with internal controls and group reporting requirements
About You:

Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)

Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable

Exposure to cost accounting principles

Confident communicator with the ability to engage with non-finance stakeholders

Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
