Technical Sales Manager
We’re on the hunt for an ambitious Regional Technical Sales Manager for one of our clients, an impressive leading manufacturer of fire protection solutions.
- Are you a driven and effective sales manager with a proven track record of developing new and existing customer accounts?
- Do you have experience of working with construction materials supply?
- Do you have experience of selling into architects, specifiers, developers and contractors?
If your answer is yes to the above, and you’re looking for a role where you can combine your technical knowledge with a forward thinking sales approach then we want to hear from you.
You’ll be happy with regular travel as this role is covering Midlands, Merseyside and Wales.

About the Job
- You’ll be working alongside the specification and commercial team, whilst focusing on building and safeguarding the specification, tracking and pricing projects and developing relationships with customers.
- You’ll be kept on your toes with managing key client accounts across the business- including on-site and face to face meetings.
- You’ll have to develop technical knowledge of products quickly, a very important skill in today’s fast-moving world…
- Maintaining connections with internal teams, sub-contractors and various other dept’s, making sure projects/operations run smoothly. Collaboration is key!
- Help to create and deliver regular CPD Presentations.
About You
- This will suit someone who is looking for a balance between technical work, business development and ongoing account management.
- Of course, given the nature of the role and the projects, you’ll be commercially minded and detail focused.
- You’ll be a natural hunter; always looking for new market opportunities to turn into a business prospect.
- You’ll be comfortable presenting to people at all levels.
- You will be akin to working in a fast paced sales role.
- You’ll love learning out about how things work and helping to find the best solutions for your clients. Always putting customers first.
- A background in technical sales, particularly fire protection, acoustic, and thermal insulation, although not essential, would be fantastic!
