Import / Export Coordinator

We’ve partnered once again with one of our amazing clients, a respected manufacturer in Middleton who need an Import / Export Administrator to join their team – ideally someone who can start ASAP and take ownership of their international shipping activity.

About You
- Previous experience in import / export within manufacturing
- Confident handling global shipments, documentation and compliance
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS 2020, IPR, and Intrastat
- Ideally familiar with SAP or other ERP systems
- Strong communicator with a practical, organised approach
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a busy team
- Studying or qualified through the Institute of Export (advantageous)
- Able to start soon and ready to get stuck in
About the Role
- Coordinate import and export shipments from start to finish
- Arrange global transport via air, sea, road and courier
- Work closely with internal teams across stores, packing and assembly
- Liaise daily with freight forwarders, hauliers and couriers
- Handle customer and supplier enquiries confidently
- Prepare and maintain accurate export/import documentation
- Manage payment terms and Letters of Credit
- Ensure all processes meet internal procedures and delivery deadlines
