QC Technician – Textiles

About You
- Ideally you will have had exposure to working in a laboratory with textiles, chemicals, coatings or dyes – this could be during your studies or in employment
- You should have an analytical mindset and be able to provide accurate analysis and reporting of your findings
- You’ll need to be a people-person and will enjoy collaborating with internal teams including product development and production
- With your high attention to detail, you will thrive on providing top-tier, critical information to your team
- You’ll have patience, independence and the desire to settle long-term
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise and shift your focus is needed for this role
About The Role
- You’ll join as QC Technician and will work in support of the Product Development Manager; we’re looking for someone who will step up during periods of absence / holidays / peak periods
- Your primary responsibilities will be day to day testing of incoming samples, raw materials, in-process and finished goods using various testing methods
- You should have a good eye for colour and will need to undertake a test at interview stage
- You will record, review, file and report findings of all testing, escalating any anomalies and making suggestions for improvement
- Ensuring all equipment is clean and in good working order, ready for next use
