Quality & Compliance Manager – Textiles

This is a pivotal role ensuring all products meet regulatory, performance, chemical, and environmental standards across UK, EU, USA, and Marine markets. You will drive a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the business while partnering closely with internal teams and external suppliers.

About The Role
- Lead and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring audit readiness and compliance
- Oversee product compliance, testing programmes, supplier assurance, and complaints management
- Manage regulatory compliance across multiple markets (including REACH and environmental standards)
- Lead technical investigations into product issues, identifying root cause and corrective actions
- Oversee external laboratory testing, certifications, and testing governance
- Manage supplier quality frameworks, including audits, non-conformance, and escalation
- Own quality data, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support cross-functional collaboration with design, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales
About You
- Proven experience in a Quality / Compliance role within manufacturing or textiles
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 desirable)
- Experience with product testing, supplier quality, and regulatory compliance
- Understanding of textile processes and fault analysis (preferred but not essential)
- Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
- It would be beneficial if you have the additional experience of HSE compliance, however it’s not essential
